Occurrence and severe infestation of the invasive rugose spiralling whitefly (RSW), Aleurodicus rugioperculatus Martin (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae) on oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.), (Arecales: Arecaceae) in India is reported for the first time. The severity of its infestation, impact on oil palm cultivation, occurrence of natural enemies and non-chemical management strategies against RSW are discussed.KEYWORDS:
